Alea also believes in investing in the future. She will champion efforts to rebuild America’s infrastructure – from roads and bridges to broadband internet – which will create jobs now and lay the groundwork for long-term growth. She supports American energy independence, leveraging our abundant resources and innovation to provide affordable energy and employment (while reducing reliance on hostile foreign powers). Alea will encourage vocational and technical training programs that match workers with high-demand jobs, ensuring industries like manufacturing and skilled trades have the talent they need. As someone who has worked on federal budgets, she knows we must also tackle the national debt to secure our economic future, making tough choices to curb excessive spending while protecting Social Security and Medicare for seniors.
