Congresswoman Kaptur is the poster child for the need for term limits. Under her tenure, Ohio workers, families, and businesses have been worse off by nearly every measure. She’s been in office since 1983—that’s before Alea was born. 

Alea supports term limits for members of Congress and Senators. No one needs to spend more than 6 terms in the U.S. House of Representatives, or 3 terms in the U.S. Senate.  

Alea also supports banning former Representatives and Senators from cashing in and becoming lobbyists after they leave public office.
