Alea Nadeem Statement on Ohio Redistricting

Toledo, OH – Alea Nadeem, a Toledo native, Air Force veteran, and conservative Republican for Congress in OH-09, released the following statement responding to the new map passed today by the Ohio Redistricting Commission:

“I entered this race to defeat Marcy Kaptur and restore commonsense leadership in Congress for northwest Ohio. Despite the new lines, Marcy Kaptur will be tough to defeat, and we are not going to beat one career politician like Kaptur with another like Derek Merrin, Josh Williams, or Rob McColley. I am going to take the fight to Marcy Kaptur and make this race about her liberal record. Republicans can’t afford to blow this race again and cost Republicans control of the House of Representatives.”
